Okay, so, I’ve been into collecting basketball cards for a while, and obviously, Michael Jordan cards are like the holy grail for collectors. I got curious about just how much some of these cards are worth. So I started digging around, trying to figure out the values of some of these iconic cards.
First thing I did was download this app called CollX. It’s pretty cool, you just snap a picture of your card, and it tells you the current market price. I didn’t have a lot of cards to start with, so I mostly just messed around with the app, checking out different cards and seeing their values. It’s kinda addictive, to be honest.
- I took a picture of a card with my phone.
- The app identified the card.
- It showed me the current price.
Then, I started looking into some of the most valuable Michael Jordan cards out there. Turns out, some of these things are worth a fortune! I found out that a PSA 9 Michael Jordan 1984 Star Rookie Card recently sold for over $1 million. Can you believe that? A piece of cardboard for a million bucks! It’s insane.
Looking at the top 30
I also stumbled upon this blog that listed the top 30 most valuable Michael Jordan cards. I spent a good chunk of time reading through it, just marveling at the prices. It’s like a whole different world out there, with these super rare cards that people are willing to pay crazy amounts of money for.
And then, I found this PSA Price Guide online. It’s like a database of thousands of sports cards and their values. I started poking around, just searching for different Michael Jordan cards and seeing what they’re going for. It was pretty overwhelming, to be honest. There are so many cards out there, and the prices are all over the place.
Sorting through PSA prices
- Found the PSA Price Guide online.
- Searched for Michael Jordan cards.
- Checked out different values.
So, that’s what I’ve been up to. It’s been a wild ride, diving into the world of Michael Jordan basketball card values. I didn’t end up buying or selling anything, but it was super interesting to learn about this whole scene. It’s crazy how much these little pieces of cardboard can be worth.
I found that some cards are worth more than others, and it all depends on things like the year, the condition, and the rarity. And the prices can change a lot over time, too. It’s a whole market, just like stocks or something. It makes me think about how many other things in this world have values that people never even think about. I guess everything has a value if you know where to look and have the money to spend!
Anyway, it was a fun little project. I learned a lot, and it gave me a new appreciation for these iconic cards. It is a new world for me, I will share more if I have the time to look into it. Maybe one day I’ll even have a million-dollar card of my own, who knows!
