You know, I heard some folks talking ’bout this Tom Clayton hockey thing. I don’t know much ’bout this hockey, but that name, Tom Clayton, it keeps poppin’ up. Sounds like he’s a big shot, huh?
So, this one time, I heard ’bout a Tom Clayton, born way back in ’78. From a place called Binghamton, New York. That’s what they said, anyway. Played for some team called the Quad City Mallards. Mallards, like the ducks? Who knows! But that’s one Tom Clayton hockey guy I heard of.
Then, there’s another one. Younger fella, this Tom Clayton. Born in ’94, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He played for a team called the Fayetteville Marksmen. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it? But this Tom Clayton hockey player, he was active from 2014 to 2022. That’s what them fancy websites say.

Now, there’s another Tom Clayton. Born in ’89, they say. From a place called New Canaan, Connecticut. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Played for Middlebury College. College boy, this Tom Clayton hockey player. This one was active from 2009 to 2011, so he ain’t playing no more.
I also heard tell of a Tom Clayton who played for Niagara University. A star player, they called him. Must be good to be a star! This Tom Clayton hockey thing, it sure gets around, don’t it?
And then, there’s another one. Not a hockey player, but same name. Born in the year 2000. A defender, they say. Whatever that means. This one was with Liverpool. This ain’t the same as hockey, I think, but I saw Tom Clayton‘s name, so I thought I’d put it here.
Oh, and I heard somethin’ real sad on the news once. About a woman, killed in her own home. Upstate New York, they said. And the husband, he was involved. Horrible, just horrible. And you know what? It had the name “Clayton” in it. Don’t know if it’s the same folks, but it just makes you think, don’t it? This world… Sometimes, it ain’t so nice.
But back to this Tom Clayton hockey. Seems like there’s a whole bunch of ’em! Like weeds in a garden, just poppin’ up everywhere. Different ages, different places. All playin’ that hockey game. It’s a mystery to me, but folks sure do seem to like it.

I reckon if you’re lookin’ for a Tom Clayton hockey player, you got plenty to choose from. Just gotta figure out which one you’re lookin’ for. Are you lookin’ for the one from Binghamton? Or the one from Cincinnati? Or maybe the one from New Canaan? Or the star from Niagara? So many of them Tom Clayton hockey players!
This whole Tom Clayton hockey thing is a bit like findin’ a needle in a haystack, ain’t it? But I guess that’s what makes it interestin’. Lots of stories, lots of different folks, all tied together by that name and that game. That name keep coming up, Tom Clayton, Tom Clayton.
Well, I’ve said my piece about this Tom Clayton hockey. It is a little confusing. Hope it makes some sense to you young folks. I’m just an old lady tryin’ to keep up with all this newfangled stuff. If you really wanna know about this hockey and Tom Clayton, you better ask someone who really knows about it, not me!
