Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ ’bout this dickinson basketball roster thing. You know, these young fellas playin’ that basketball, jumpin’ around and throwin’ that orange ball. This dickinson team, they got a whole bunch of ’em. A whole roster, they call it. It’s like a list, you see, of all the boys on the team. Important thing, this roster.
Now, I heard someone say somethin’ ’bout a fella named Hunter Dickinson. Born in, uh, 2000, they say. Sounds like a young’un to me. This fella plays for some college called University of Kansas, far far away from here. He is one of those dickinson basketball boys, but I ain’t sure he’s on the list we talkin’ about today, probably not.
They got all sorts of these fellas on this dickinson basketball roster. This paper here, it says they got Aidon, and Nolan, and Dylan, and some fella named Boston. That’s a name, I tell ya! They all play for Dickinson, wherever that is. Must be a school, maybe? Lots of schools got these basketball teams now, jumpin’ and shootin’ that ball. Keeps ’em outta trouble, I reckon.
And this list, this roster, it’s got all their names, see? Like a roll call, kinda. You wanna know who’s playin’, you look at the roster. Simple as that. And they got different positions, I guess. Some of those players are guards, shootin’ guards, power forwards. What do I know? I just know they’re all runnin’ up and down that court!
This thing here says somethin’ ’bout “Men’s Basketball.” So, it’s for the boys, not the girls. And they got a “schedule,” which I reckon is when they play them games. And “stats,” that’s probably how many times they throw that ball in the hoop. Sounds complicated to me. I just like watchin’ ’em run. Good exercise, that’s for sure. They play for the Blue Hawks, that’s what someone was sayin’.
