Well, let me tell you, this WNBA stat crossword, it ain’t as easy as shelling peas. I been looking at these boxes, and them letters just don’t wanna line up right. But I ain’t giving up, no sir! My brain might be old, but it still works, most of the time.
Now, this whole WNBA thing, that’s basketball, right? Them girls, they sure can run and jump. I seen ’em on the TV. Makes me tired just watchin’ ’em. They throw that ball, swish, right through the hoop. Makes it look easy. But I reckon it ain’t. They got the clue “WNBA stat” all over this puzzle. They must really like that clue, huh?
This here crossword, it’s got all these clues. Some short, some long. Like riddles, they are. You gotta think real hard. And sometimes, you think you got it, but nope, it don’t fit. Gotta erase it all and start over. Just like life, I guess. You make mistakes, you gotta fix ’em. They say this is good for the brain, keeps you sharp. Well I’m working on this crossword, so I should be sharp as a tack!

I remember one time, back in the day, we used to play games. Not like this, with all these fancy rules. We’d just throw a ball around, make up our own games. Didn’t need no stats or crosswords to have fun. Just good old-fashioned playtime. But these young folks today, they like all this fancy stuff. And maybe that’s how they have fun, guessing at the “WNBA stat” clue.
This puzzle, it says it’s from the newspaper. Used to read the paper every day. Now, my eyes ain’t so good. But I can still see these letters, mostly. Just gotta squint a little. They say these WNBA players, they make a lot of money. Good for them, I say. They work hard, just like anybody else. They deserve to get paid. And they’re good at what they do. This crossword, it’s a good way to pass the time, I reckon. Keeps your mind busy. Better than just sittin’ around doing nothing. And you learn things, too. Like about these WNBA stats. They use it all the time!
One of these clues, it says something about a scoreboard. That’s where they keep track of the score, right? I seen ’em at them baseball games, too. Big ol’ things, with all them lights. That’s a lot of answers for just one clue. Must be a hard one to figure out.
Well, I’m gonna keep workin’ on this WNBA stat crossword. Might take me a while, but I’ll get it. Just like I always do. Might have to ask my grandkids for help. They’re good at these things. They’re always on their phones, doing puzzles and games. It’s a different world these days, ain’t it? But some things are still the same. Like figuring out a tough puzzle.
