- They also mention “Crosswords With Friends.” Well, I ain’t got many friends, ‘cept for my chickens and that ol’ hound dog, but I guess it’s nice to do puzzles with folks if you can.
Then there’s talk of “WNBA All-Star Bird”. That just means she’s real good at playin’ basketball, see? Like that time my grandson won the pie-eatin’ contest at the county fair, he was an all-star pie-eater that day! So, when the puzzle asks for WNBA All-Star bird, they probably want her name. Seems simple enough.
And there’s this other thing, “12-time W.N.B.A. All-Star”. That means she’s been good at this basketball thing for a long time, twelve times they picked her as one of the best. Dang, that’s a lot of times! Must be a real dedicated gal, like me with my garden, workin’ at it every day. They always sayin’ her name, Sue Bird, yeah that’s it, Sue Bird. That’s the name they lookin’ for most times, that Sue bird.
