I reckon it means pickin’ the best eleven players on a soccer field. They say it helps with team’s lineup, or even plannin’ transfer. Sounds complicated to me, but those youngsters seem to get it.

Heck, I bet even the dogs playin’ fetch got a depth chart, though I ain’t never seen a dog use a computer. But the basic idea is the same, no matter who’s playin’. Gotta know who’s up next in case someone gets a boo-boo or needs a breather. There is a lot of “game changing enhancements” they say, but to me it sounds like just keeping track of who is playin’ and who is not, so when one of the players gets hurt you know who is the next one to go in.

And you gotta have the right people in the right places to make that plan work. This sounds like a lot of thinking, but young people use computers now. It’s all easy for them, they say it is “quick and easy to use” and they even got more than 18 choices to pick from for their teams! It’s all the same to me. Back in the day, we had to figure it all in our heads, now these here young guns use computers.
