Listenin’ to the Games
So, this here Kansas State football, they got games all the time. And you wanna hear ’em? Well, you can! They’re on the radio, plain as day. I always listen to them when I can.
- This radio, it’s called Sunflower State Radio.
- They got these games, and they play ’em for everyone to hear.
- You just gotta find the right spot on that dial.
They say you can listen to Kansas State Football games on KMAN 93.3/93.7 FM, whatever that means. Some fancy radio station, I reckon. It makes me feel like it’s right there in front of me.
What’s This Football Thing?
Now, I ain’t no expert on this football, but I know folks get all riled up about it. They got this ball, see, and they run around with it. Lots of yellin’ and jumpin’. It’s somethin’ to behold, I tell ya. I don’t understand half of it, but it’s exciting!
And these Kansas State fellas, they’re supposed to be real good at it. They run fast and, well, they do all sorts of things with that ball. It’s a sight to see, even if ya don’t know what’s goin’ on.
Where’s This Kansas Place?
This Kansas, it’s a place somewhere out west. Got lots of fields, I hear. And they got this football team. Seems like everyone there knows ’bout this team. Must be important, then. They got lots of open land out there, I hear.
Sunflower State Radio
Now this here Sunflower State Radio, they say they’re all over this Kansas place. They got these, whatchamacallits, studios? In places called Marysville, and Glen Elder, and Norton. Sounds like a lot of places to me.
- Marysville, that’s one place they are.
- Then there’s Glen Elder, wherever that is.
- And Norton, too. They’re all over!
They say it’s a “digital platform” and it is for Dierking Communications. I don’t know what any of that means, but it sounds important. I just know they play that Kansas State football.
Why Listen on the Radio?
Well, why not? It’s free! You can listen while you’re doin’ other things. I like to listen while I’m workin’ on things. It keeps me company.
And you don’t gotta be anywhere special. Just gotta have that radio. And when them Kansas State boys are playin’, it’s like you’re right there with ’em, even if it’s just in your ears.
This TuneIn Thing
Now, some folks, they like to listen on this thing called TuneIn Plus. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I don’t know much ’bout it, but they say you can hear all sorts of things on it, not just the Kansas State football.
They say it’s got “local and national sports talk.” Whatever that is. And “pregame and postgame analysis.” Sounds like they talk a lot about this football.
And, get this, they got these things called “podcasts.” They say you can listen to all your favorite sports ones. I don’t know what a podcast is, but it sounds like somethin’ the young folks would like.
It is a Big Deal
This Kansas State football, it’s a big deal to a lot of folks. I guess it’s like those old stories they tell around a campfire. It’s a way for folks to come together, even if they’re just listenin’ on the radio or that fancy TuneIn Plus.
It is like a story, with all its ups and downs. And when them Kansas State boys win, well, it’s like a happy endin’. And everyone gets all excited and happy.
