Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get a purple LA Kings jersey for a while now. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one. Here’s how it went down.
First, I remembered that the Kings used to wear purple and gold back in the day, like in 1967. They brought it back for some special games a few years ago. So, I figured a purple jersey would be pretty cool and retro.

While I was searching, I also found out that there are a couple of different alternate Kings logos with a “kick K” which pays homage to the original logo. I didn’t end up getting one with that logo, but it was cool to learn about.
