Okay, so, I was trying to figure out what my nephew’s football schedule is for the next season, and you know, he’s playing for East Longmeadow. First, I just went on a search engine and typed in “East Longmeadow football schedule.”
The results popped up, and they were all about this team called the “Spartans.” I guess that’s their team name? Anyway, I saw a couple of different websites that seemed to have the info I needed. One was called *, and the others were just general sports sites that had high school sports schedules.
Figuring Out the Schedule
I clicked on a few of them and started looking around. It was kind of messy, honestly. They all had different layouts and weren’t super clear. But I managed to piece some things together.
- Team Name: They’re called the East Longmeadow Spartans. Makes sense, I guess.
- Year: Most of the sites were talking about the 2024-2025 season, so I figured that’s what I was looking for.
- Dates and Opponents: This was the tricky part. Some sites had dates, some had opponents, and some had both, but it wasn’t all in one place. I saw something about a game on Thursday, November 14, 2024, so I think that’s right.
I also saw some pages talking about news, rosters, and rankings for the team. I didn’t really care about all that, but I guess it’s cool if you’re a big fan.
Still Some Gaps
Honestly, I still don’t have the full schedule. It was kind of a pain to try to find it all in one place. It seemed like I’d have to check a bunch of different websites and maybe even call the school to get the full, official schedule.
I ended up writing down what I could find on a piece of paper and figuring I’d ask my sister about it later. She probably has the schedule on her fridge or something.
It’s kind of annoying that high school sports schedules aren’t easier to find online. You’d think in this day and age, there would be one central place where you could get all that info. Oh well. It is what it is, I guess.
Anyway, that’s how my little adventure in finding the East Longmeadow football schedule went. Not the most exciting story, but it’s what I did today, so I figured I’d share.
