Okay, so I wanted to put together an updated depth chart for the Oklahoma State football team. I’m a huge Cowboys fan, and it’s always fun to see how the roster is shaping up, you know?
First, I started by looking up some info on the team’s history. Did you know they’ve had over a hundred players drafted into the NFL since 1936? That’s pretty wild! And their mascot, Pistol Pete, that guy’s been around forever. It’s cool how they adopted that whole cowboy theme way back when.
Then, I moved on to the current roster. I went to the team’s official website and a few other sports sites that usually have updated depth charts. I wanted to get a complete list of all the players, from the starters to the backups. It was a bit of a hunt, gotta say, but you can usually find this stuff if you dig deep enough.
I started writing down the players’ names, positions, and their years. For example, I noticed Brennan Presley is going to be the main return man again, which is awesome. He’s electric! And Logan Ward is listed as the placekicker. Solid players. I used a simple text editor to do this – nothing fancy.
- Quarterbacks: I listed all the QBs and made sure to mark down who the projected starter was. It’s gonna be interesting to see how that battle plays out during the season.
- Running Backs: Same deal here. I wrote down all the names, from the starter to the backups.
- Wide Receivers: This is a fun group to watch. I got all their names and noted their positions.
- Offensive Line: These guys are the unsung heroes. I listed them all out and tried to figure out who’s starting where.
After that, I went through the defense.
- Defensive Line: I listed all the linemen and tried to figure out the starters there as well.
- Linebackers: Got all these guys down, too.
- Defensive Backs: Cornerbacks, safeties – the whole crew.
- Special Teams: Like I mentioned, I had Presley as the return man and Ward as the kicker. Also noted the punter and long snapper.
My thoughts
Finally, I looked over the whole depth chart. It’s always interesting to see how the team is shaping up, who the new guys are, and who might surprise us this year. It took a few hours to gather all this info and put it together, but it was worth it. Now I have a pretty good idea of what the Cowboys’ roster looks like going into the season.
It’s a rough estimate, of course. Things can change, especially with injuries and such. But it gives me a good starting point. Go Pokes!
