Alright, so let me tell you about this little project I’ve been messing around with – it’s called “Bold Warriors Football”. Sounds kinda epic, right? Well, it all started with me just wanting to keep up with the local high school football scene. I love the energy, the passion, you know? So I’m thinking, how can I get in on this?
First thing I did was hit up the local high schools. I’m talking about schools in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, you name it. I made some calls, sent some emails, trying to get the lowdown on their teams. Schedules, scores, players to watch – the whole nine yards. I even went down to 701 S 9th St in Olivia, where BOLD High School is. It was a bit of a drive, but hey, gotta go where the action is, right?
Then it hit me – why not put all this info in one place? So I started building this simple website. Nothing fancy, just a place to post updates, scores, and maybe some player profiles. I started putting up the schedules for the games. Then I started adding scores as they came in. Man, it was a lot of work, but seeing it all come together was pretty cool.
Building the Community
But then I realized, this could be more than just me posting stuff. What if other people could get involved? So I added a little section where folks could share their own thoughts, predictions, maybe even some photos from the games. Getting the word out was the next big hurdle. I started by telling my friends, family, anyone who’d listen. Then I started posting updates on the usual spots – you know, social media, local forums, that sort of thing.
I remember one game, BOLD was playing, and their star player, Hudson Vosika, made this insane 99-yard interception return for a touchdown right before halftime. The place went nuts! I managed to get that info up on the site real quick, and people were loving it. It was a real highlight, a moment I won’t forget. It became my most popular share.
The Current Progress
- Gather info: Reached out to schools in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
- Visit BOLD: Took a trip to BOLD High School in Olivia, MN (701 S 9th St).
- Create website: Built a basic site to share schedules, scores, and news.
- Community features: Added a section for fans to share their thoughts and photos.
- Spread the word: Promoted the site through friends, social media, and local forums.
- Live Updates: Share real time game updates.
- Highlight reel: Create a highlight video for the popular contents.
It’s still a work in progress, this “Bold Warriors Football” thing. But it’s been a blast so far. I’m learning a ton, meeting some cool people, and really getting into the high school football spirit. Who knows where it’ll go from here? Maybe it’ll stay small, maybe it’ll blow up. Either way, I’m having fun with it, and that’s what counts, right?
