Okay, so yesterday I decided to watch the LSU vs. Colorado football game. I’ve been hearing a lot about both teams, especially with LSU’s recent winning streak. I thought it would be a good idea to see what the hype was all about.
First thing I did was check the game schedule. Turns out, the game was scheduled for Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM ET. I noted it down, so I wouldn’t forget. Then I looked up where it was playing. The game was set to happen in Baton Rouge.
Next, I had to figure out how to watch it. I went through a bunch of websites, and from what I gathered, the game was going to be available on ESPN+. I do not have an ESPN+ subscription.
- Decided to watch the LSU vs. Colorado game.
- Checked the schedule: Sunday, December 8, 2024, 3:00 PM ET.
- Found out it’s in Baton Rouge.
- Searched for viewing options, found it on ESPN+.
I also looked up some extra info about the teams. I found out that LSU has been doing pretty well, winning seven of their last eight “Battles for the Golden Boot.” They’re also on a two-game winning streak, which is cool. The websites I looked at also mentioned something about betting odds, but I wasn’t really interested in that.
Pre-Game Setup
So, game day arrived. I made sure I had everything ready before 3:00 PM. Got some snacks, a comfortable spot on the couch, and the TV remote.
While I waited for the game to start, I looked up some more details about the broadcast. Some sites mentioned that the game might also be on other channels like ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and SEC Network.
There was another game, Missouri vs. LSU basketball, mentioned on one of the sites, and it was going to be on CBS Sports HQ. It seemed like a lot of people were interested in that one, too. One website mentioned I could watch college football and NFL games on ESPN, ABC, BTN, FOX, FS1, CBS, ACC Network, SEC Network, NFL Network, and more if I have Hulu + Live TV. But it also said that the programming might have regional restrictions and blackouts.
All in all, it was a pretty straightforward process. I didn’t run into any major issues while setting everything up. Just had to do a bit of searching to find the right info.
And that’s pretty much it. I got to watch the game without any problems. It was a good experience, and I might do this more often for other big games.
