Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little adventures. Today, I got hooked on this “idolize crossword” thing. Sounds fancy, right? Well, let me tell you, it was quite the ride.
So, I started my day like any other, scrolling through my usual sites and saw something about a crossword puzzle on the LA Times – a clue for “Idolize” that was published on October 14, 2024. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, I’ve got time, and it sounded like a fun little brain teaser.
I dove right in, and the first thing I noticed was that this “idolize” clue had a 6-letter answer. The site I was on suggested “ESTEEM” as a possible solution. “Hmm, that seems to fit,” I muttered to myself.
- I looked around some more, and it seemed like this wasn’t the only place talking about the “idolize” clue.
- I found another site that mentioned it was in the Newsday Crossword on October 30, but this time, the answer was supposed to be 5 letters. A bit confusing, to be honest.
- Then, I stumbled upon yet another mention of it on the Universal Crossword Puzzle from January 26, 2024. It felt like this “idolize” clue was everywhere!
I also found something about a solver that spit out 33 possible answers for “Idolize.” Thirty-three! That’s a lot of ways to say you admire someone, I guess. This other crossword solver gave me 30 answers, and another one gave me 38 for “idolized.” It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least.
But I was determined. I kept digging, and I even came across some random trivia. Did you know that US Airways used to be called Allegheny Airlines? Or that the line “I’m walkin’ here!” from “Midnight Cowboy” was improvised? Totally unrelated, but hey, I learned something new!
The Conclusion of My Crossword Puzzle
After a while, I decided to go with “ESTEEM” for the LA Times puzzle. It made the most sense to me. As for the others, well, I just jotted down a few possibilities. Maybe I’ll come back to them later. All in all, it was a fun little exercise. It got my brain working, and I ended up learning a few random facts along the way.
