Okay, so let’s talk about setting up this YU basketball schedule. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be, but hey, that’s life, right?
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out where to even find the info. I started with the official YU Macs Basketball Team homepage. It’s the go-to place for scores and stuff, which is a good start. It mentions articles, scores, standings, and all that jazz. But I needed the actual schedule, so I dug a little deeper.
Digging Deeper
I stumbled upon some news about the team making it to the Skyline Conference Championships for the eighth time in a row. That’s pretty cool, but still no schedule. Then I saw something about a “Red Sarachek tournament.” Sounds fancy, and apparently, it’s a big deal for Jewish high school basketball teams. But again, not what I was looking for.
Finding the Schedule
Finally, I found a mention of a schedule page for the men’s basketball team. It said the start times are listed there, and I should be able to find it through a link. But guess what? No actual link, haha. So, I had to manually navigate through the site. It’s not rocket science, but a bit of a pain. I scrolled and clicked through different sections, like “Archives” and “Inside MacsLive.”
Putting It Together
With the dates and times in hand, I started to piece together the schedule myself. It would have been nice if there was a ready-made one, but this works too.
- November 6th: There is some sort of season preview event.
- Some other time: They had a game against the Jumbos, but lost.
So yeah, that’s my adventure in finding and creating the YU basketball schedule. It wasn’t super smooth, but I got there in the end. It’s all about persistence, right? Anyway, I hope this helps someone out there who’s trying to do the same thing. Just remember to always double-check the info. Good luck!
