So, I tried to tune into the Auburn football game the other day, right? I mean, who doesn’t love some good ol’ college football on a Saturday? I wanted to catch the game, but I wasn’t near a TV. No problem, I figured I’d just listen to it online. Figured it would be a breeze, you know?
First thing I did was pull out my phone and start Googling. Typed in something like “Auburn football internet radio,” expecting a bunch of easy options to pop up. And yeah, stuff did come up.
I saw something about a “TuneIn” thing. It said I could “Listen to Stream Auburn Tigers Sports Network here on TuneIn!” Sounded promising! I remember seeing something like, “Listen anytime, anywhere.” So, I go there and I’m looking around, trying to figure out how to actually get the game audio.
I also saw something mentioning SiriusXM, but I don’t have a subscription for that. I wasn’t about to sign up for something just to hear one game. I did see a bit about college football offerings on there, but it looked like it was mostly about the Auburn/Alabama game, which wasn’t the one I was after. Nah, pass on that one.
Then there was a mention of some local radio station, “FM Talk 1065.” It had some news about the team’s poor season, how they’re not going to a bowl game. Well, not what I wanted to hear, but hey, I just wanted to listen to the game, win or lose. It wasn’t clear at all how I would listen to the game through this website. Maybe it’s just news, but what am I supposed to do with this?
Anyway, back to the TuneIn. It seemed like that was the main way to listen, they said it was free. But then I saw something about “TuneIn Plus.” What the heck is that? It was talking about all this extra stuff like sports talk and pregame analysis and podcasts. Look, I’m a simple guy, I just wanted to hear the darn game! But, ultimately I got it to work! I had to click around a bunch but eventually, I was able to listen in. The most important part is that I got to listen to the game for free!
- Search: Started by searching online for “Auburn football internet radio.”
- Explore Options: Found mentions of TuneIn, SiriusXM, and a local station.
- TuneIn: Seemed like the best bet for free listening.
- TuneIn Plus: Got a bit confused by the “TuneIn Plus” offer, but ignored it since I just wanted the game.
- Success! Managed to find and listen to the game for free on TuneIn.
It wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped, but hey, I got to listen to the game in the end! Go Tigers!
