Today, I really wanted to catch the Purdue basketball game. It’s been on my mind all week, and I was totally pumped to see them play.
First things first, I needed to figure out when and where the game was. I grabbed my phone and started searching. Turns out, it’s today, Friday, November 29, 2024, at 6:00 PM ET. The game’s at LionTree Arena in San Diego, which is good to know.
Then came the big question – how to actually watch it? I know some games are on regular TV channels, which is easy if you have an antenna. But then others are on those fancy premium channels like ESPN or TNT. So I did some more digging.
I found out that the live coverage starts at 4:30 PM on Peacock. Apparently, it’s a pretty big deal, one of the biggest games this season. This got me even more excited!
- Checked the rankings: I saw that Purdue is ranked No. 22 in the USA Today Coaches poll. Always good to know where they stand.
- Looked at the schedule: There are like 14 games with ranked teams today, so it’s a packed day for college basketball.
- Explored options: I came across this thing called Sling TV. It seems like a decent option for streaming games, and it’s cheaper than some other services. Plus, you can customize the channels. The only bummer is that it doesn’t have CBS.
I also found some info about a game on December 5, where Purdue is playing against Penn State at 6:30 PM ET. That’s another one to look forward to.
After all that searching and planning, I was ready. I figured I’d go with Peacock for today’s game. Now, I just need to get some snacks, get comfy on the couch, and enjoy the game!
