Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole “basketball player with an older girlfriend” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I saw some stuff online about NBA players dating older women, like that LiAngelo Ball and Nikki Mudarris, and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First off, I started hitting the gym more. I mean, I’m no NBA player, but I figured I should at least look the part. Lots of running, lifting weights, you know, the usual. I even tried to improve my game, practicing my jump shots and dribbling. I’m about 6’2″, not quite the 6’7″ of those top NBA guys like Luka or LaMelo, but hey, I’m working with what I’ve got.
Then came the hard part – finding an older woman who’s into the whole basketball vibe. I started going to more local games, hanging out at sports bars, that kind of thing. I even tried some dating apps, tweaking my profile to highlight the whole “basketball enthusiast” angle. It was a lot of trial and error, let me tell you. A few awkward coffee dates, some conversations that went nowhere. It’s not like every older woman is into younger guys who play basketball, right?
But I kept at it. I figured, like those articles said, “age is just a number.” I mean, that NBA guy Anthony Edwards and his girlfriend Jeanine Robel, they’re making it work. And apparently, it’s becoming a thing with young NBA stars. So, I thought, there must be someone out there for me.
Finally, I met someone. She’s a few years older, really cool, and actually enjoys watching me play. We started hanging out, going to games together, and just enjoying each other’s company. It’s still early days, but it’s been fun. She doesn’t care that I’m not a pro or anything. She just likes that I’m passionate about basketball and that we have a good time together.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with this whole “basketball player with an older girlfriend” thing. It’s not exactly like the NBA, but it’s been an interesting experiment. It took some effort, a bit of luck, and a whole lot of persistence, but I’d say it was worth it. Who knows where it will go, but for now, I’m just enjoying the ride.
