Hey everyone, today I wanna talk about my experience with the 2018-19 Panini Status basketball cards. I’ve been collecting cards for a while now, and I gotta say, this set really caught my eye.
So, first off, I started by checking out some checklists online. You know, just to get a feel for what’s in the set and what I might want to chase. I saw that there were 200 base cards in total, which is a decent number. And there are some cool subsets, like Rookie Essentials and Rookie Credentials, each with 40 cards. I was pretty excited about these, especially the rookie cards, ’cause who doesn’t love a good rookie card?
After that, I started hunting for these cards. I hit up a few online stores, just browsing through what they had. It was kinda cool seeing all the different sellers and the variety of cards available. I really wanted to find some good deals and maybe complete some of those subsets.
I also did a bit of research on the value of these cards. From what I gathered, rookie cards are usually a big deal, but it depends on the set. Like, Prizm is super popular, so the rookie cards from that set might not be as rare. But with Status, it seemed like there was a good chance to find some valuable rookies.
Getting My Hands on the Cards
I ended up buying a few packs and even some individual cards that I really wanted. It was kinda like a treasure hunt, trying to find the best deals and the cards I was most excited about. When I finally got them in the mail, it was awesome. Tearing open those packs, not knowing what I’d get, that’s half the fun, right?
Looking at the Cards
- The design of the Status cards is pretty slick. They have a clean look, and the photos of the players are really sharp.
- I managed to pull a few rookie cards, which was super exciting. Some of them were from the Rookie Essentials and Rookie Credentials subsets, just like I hoped.
- I also got some base cards of some of my favorite players. It’s always cool to add those to the collection.
All in all, I’m pretty happy with my 2018-19 Panini Status basketball card experience. It’s a fun set to collect, and there are some really cool cards to find. Plus, the rookie cards have the potential to be pretty valuable, which is always a bonus.
If you’re into basketball cards, I’d definitely recommend checking out this set. You might just find some gems for your collection. And hey, even if you don’t, it’s still a blast to rip open some packs and see what you get.
