Jeff Bailey, Keenan Crump, Matthew… and some players named Watson, Clifton, Donham, Zepeda. It’s all starting to sound like a real team, right?
Now, here’s where it got interesting. I read that the Mills Godwin High School Varsity Football team is all hyped up for the 2024 season. They’re trying to build on what they started with Coach Kinney last year. I gotta say, it feels like there’s some real hope and excitement brewing.
The Quarterback Battle
One thing that caught my eye was the quarterback situation. Apparently, there’s a bit of a competition going on between Sam Setter and Luke Roberts. These two guys were the top dogs on the JV squad last year, and now they’re both eyeing that QB1 spot. That’s gotta be intense, right? A real showdown.
