Alright, so I’ve been digging into the Oklahoma State football team, trying to get a handle on their lineup for 2024. It’s a bit of a puzzle, but here’s what I’ve pieced together so far.
Starting the Process
First off, I started by looking at the history of the team, you know, just to get some context. I found out that Oklahoma State has had a bunch of players go to the NFL, 112 to be exact, since way back in 1936. That’s a lot of talent coming through those doors!
Listing the Players
Then, I moved on to the current roster. I wanted to see who’s who and what positions they play. I made a list of all the players, from the starters to the backups. I noticed that the depth chart is pretty deep, which is always a good sign. It means they have plenty of guys ready to step up if needed.
The Offense
- Started listing out the offensive players.
- Made notes on their strengths and weaknesses.
- Tried to figure out who the key players are going to be.
The Defense
- Did the same for the defensive side of the ball.
- Compared the defense to the offense to see where the team’s strengths lie.
Analyzing
After getting all the names down, I started analyzing the potential starters for each position. This is where it gets tricky because you have to consider who performed well last season, who’s coming back from injury, and who the new recruits are. There’s a lot of “if this, then that” scenarios to think through. I put together a preliminary depth chart, but I know it’s going to change as we get closer to the season.
Finalizing
Finally, I put together a complete projected depth chart, including both offense and defense. It felt good to see it all laid out, even though I know it’s just a snapshot in time. It’ll be interesting to see how close I get once the season starts. Football is unpredictable, but that’s part of what makes it so exciting!
