Okay, so let’s talk about this Wilson Tigers football thing. I’ve been kinda following them for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s been a ride. I stumbled upon them online, their page has about two hundred likes, so not huge, but you know, it’s something. They seem to be based in Washington, which is cool.
I started digging around a bit more. I guess they are into semi-pro football, whatever that really means. Found a few tags related to them like “Wilson Tigers” and “Football,” pretty obvious stuff.
Then I got curious about the players. I checked out their roster, saw some names, and tried to figure out who these guys were. They’re called the Wilson Tigers, and apparently, there’s something about Florence? Not sure what that’s about, maybe their location or rival or something.
One of them, a guy called Matt LeGrand, is also a coach. I saw that he’s a Mvskoke citizen. Another player’s name is Derrick McQueen.
I also tried to keep up with their schedule and any updates on their team. It’s not always easy to find info, but I’m doing my best to stay in the loop. I found an account following them, with about two hundred and forty followers, but they only follow seventeen people back. So, they’re a bit selective, I guess.
Here’s a little story I found interesting. A year ago, there’s this coach, Minoso Rodgers, who was just starting his offseason training with the team. Then, bam, the whole world went crazy, and everything changed. Must have been tough for them.
Here’s what I did:
- Found the Wilson Tigers online.
- Checked their likes and basic info.
- Dug into their semi-pro football involvement.
- Looked at the roster and tried to figure out the players.
- Read about Matt LeGrand, Derrick McQueen, and coach Minoso Rodgers.
- Followed their schedule and updates as best as I could.
My Thoughts
It’s been an interesting little journey following the Wilson Tigers. They’re not a big name, but there’s something cool about following a smaller team. You get to see the ups and downs, the struggles, and hopefully, some victories too. I’ll keep checking in on them and see how they’re doing. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise us all.
