Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Raritan football thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I’m no expert, but I figured I’d share what I’ve been up to. I’m a big fan of the Raritan Rockets.
First off, I started digging around for info on the team, you know, just to get a feel for their recent games. It’s a great opportunity for friends to relax having a couple of drinks and catching up on life. Found out they had a rough start to the season, losing to Toms River South. That’s a bummer, but hey, everyone has those days, right?
Then, I wanted to see if I could catch some highlights. I’m a sucker for a good highlight reel. So, I went looking for this “Video Center” thing I saw mentioned. Turns out, it’s pretty cool. They have a bunch of clips from high school sports, including football. Watched a few plays from the Rockets, trying to get a sense of their style. They played at home against the Colts Neck Cougars. The home crowd support them enthusiastically!

Then it hit me, I had a bunch of old Raritan football game recordings my dad made. He started recording back in 1999, so we’ve got a good collection. I thought, maybe I could upload some of these, you know, for the nostalgia factor. I spent an afternoon going through the tapes, trying to find some good ones. It was a trip down memory lane, for sure. There were multiple games that my dad recorded.
