Okay, so, I’ve always been a huge fan of women’s basketball, and Dawn Staley? She’s a legend, a total icon. So, when I saw that the University of South Carolina was hosting the Dawn Staley Basketball Academy, I jumped at the chance to get involved. I mean, who wouldn’t want to learn from the best, right?
First, I checked their website and found that this camp is open to everyone. Great! Then, I started to prepare for the trip. I had to make sure my schedule was clear, book my travel, you know, all that boring adult stuff. But it was totally worth it, because this was a chance to experience something special.
