Okay, so, I’ve been seeing these Anta Klay Thompson shoes pop up everywhere lately, and as a big fan of basketball, and Klay Thompson, I finally decided to snag a pair. I thought I’d share my whole experience with you guys, from start to finish.
First off, I was browsing around online, trying to figure out which model to get. There have been so many over the years, as Anta has been working with Klay since before he had all those injuries that kept him out for a while. You know he signed with them a few years ago. They’ve got a bunch of other NBA players too, like Gordon Hayward and Kevon Looney, but, you know, I am a Klay’s fan!
So after some digging, I landed on the KT8. It seems to be his latest signature shoe for the 2022-2023 NBA season. I ordered them online, and man, was I excited when that package arrived!
Unboxing them was a cool experience. The presentation was top-notch. Then I started to look at the details on the shoes. They look really good in person. It has Klay’s signature on the side and his number 11. It feels solid and well-made.
Naturally, the first thing I did was lace them up and try them on. They fit true to size, which is always a relief. The cushioning felt really comfortable right off the bat. I walked around the house a bit, did some quick cuts, you know, the usual stuff you do with new basketball shoes. The support felt great, and they were surprisingly light.
The real test, of course, was taking them to the court. I played a few pickup games, and let me tell you, these shoes are the real deal. They’ve got this awesome grip on the floor, so I felt really confident making quick moves and changing directions. And the cushioning? Superb. My feet didn’t feel sore at all, even after a couple of hours of playing. Also, I felt good stability when I was shooting. I am a shooter like Klay, haha.
I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now, both on and off the court. They’re holding up great, no signs of wear and tear yet. And honestly, they look pretty stylish too. I’ve gotten a few compliments on them already.
- Pros:
- Great traction
- Comfortable cushioning
- Good support
- Stylish design
- Cons:
- A bit pricey (but worth it in my opinion)
Overall, I’m super happy with my Anta KT8s. They’re a solid pair of basketball shoes that perform well and look good. If you’re a Klay Thompson fan or just looking for a new pair of kicks, I’d definitely recommend checking them out. By the way, I know that Anta is the third-largest manufacturer of sporting goods overall, behind Nike and Adidas. That’s amazing!
Alright, that’s my experience with the Anta Klay Thompson shoes. I hope this was helpful for anyone who is interested in them. Go Warriors!
