Okay, so, I’ve been digging into the Sewanee basketball team lately, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride. I’m a huge basketball fan, and keeping track of team rosters is my thing. Today, I wanted to get the full scoop on the Sewanee Tigers’ 2024-25 lineup, and I figured I’d share my little adventure with you all.
Getting Started
First things first, I started with a general search. I wanted to know what kind of team Sewanee has. Apparently, they have 24 varsity teams, and they’re part of the NCAA Division III. They compete in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA). And, get this, over 30% of their students play at the varsity level. That’s a lot of sporty students!
Diving Deeper
Next, I wanted to find the actual roster. I found their official website, but it wasn’t super detailed. It had some questionnaires and stuff, but not the full roster I was looking for. So, I kept digging.
Finding the Gold
Then, I stumbled upon a website that had the full roster. Bingo! It listed all the players, their positions, heights, weights, and even their class. Here’s a little taste of what I found:
- Michael Barry – Guard, 6’0″, 185 lbs
- Hunter Buescher – Guard, 5’10”, 160 lbs
- Cam Caldwell – Forward, 6’3″, 190 lbs
- Jonny Crumly – Center, 6’7″, 200 lbs
There were 17 players listed in total. It was awesome to see all their details in one place. It had everything, point guards, shooting guards, power forwards, small forwards, and centers.
Other Bits and Pieces
I also found some other random info, like their game schedule, news, and player stats. It looks like they’ve got a pretty packed season ahead. I saw something about their 99th season starting soon, which is pretty cool. They were set to play against Maryville College (Tenn.). I think it was an away game.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s my little journey into the Sewanee Tigers’ basketball roster. It was fun to hunt down all this information and put it together. I’m definitely going to keep an eye on this team and see how they do this season. Maybe I’ll even catch a game or two. If you’re into college basketball, you should check them out too. It’s always fun to follow a new team!
