Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to check out this Corona del Sol basketball team for a while now. Heard some buzz about them, especially after they snagged a title last year. So, I finally made it to a game last night, and boy, was it an experience!
First off, I gotta say, getting there was a breeze. I just drove over to Corona del Sol High School in Tempe. Found the gym pretty easily, and the atmosphere was electric. You could tell people were hyped for this game.
The Game
They were playing against Mountain View, and let me tell you, it was a nail-biter. These teams were going at it, back and forth the whole time. Honestly, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the game.
- I noticed only a couple of the starters from last year’s championship team were still around.
- They seemed a little off at first, maybe still finding their groove. They stumbled a bit, no doubt.
- But man, did they show heart! This Cadence Murdough guy really stepped up and gave them a boost.
They had a tough battle, but ultimately they pulled through at the end. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty impressed with their skills, but mostly, I loved their team spirit. It was clear these guys had each other’s backs, even when things got tough.
Final Thoughts
So, yeah, it was a great night of basketball. Even though the team was not at it’s best at times, I saw some real potential in these guys. I’ll definitely be back for more games. If you’re in the Tempe area and you’re a basketball fan, you should totally check out a Corona del Sol game. You won’t regret it!
