Well, let me tell you, folks are talkin’ ’bout them Kings, and I got some thoughts, just my two cents, you know.
Kings Predictions This Year
This year, hear tell them Kings, the Los Angeles ones, not them other ones, they’re gonna be somethin’ else. They got some new fellas, some fresh faces on the ice. Six of ’em, I heard. Six new boys tryin’ to make a name for themselves. Gonna be interestin’ to see how they do, how they fit in with the rest of the team.
They want that big shiny cup, that championship thing. Everyone wants that, don’t they? But these Kings, they’re sayin’ it loud and clear. They got a good team, a talented team, they are saying, they are trying to get it.
- They got this one fella, the goalie, name of David. Plays good, they say.
- Got another one, Darcy. They’re gonna be workin’ together, keepin’ that puck out of the net.
- That’s important, keepin’ the puck out. You can’t win if you don’t keep the puck out!
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I been watchin’ these games for a while now. Been watchin’ ’em since they were wearin’ them purple and gold jerseys, you remember those? Different times. But, this Kings team, they got somethin’ special, I think. They got that fire in their belly.
Will Kings Win Big?
People are wonderin’, will they win big? Will they get more than 50 wins? Fifty wins, that’s a lot of wins! Last time they did that, my old man was still kickin’. Long time ago. 2004, I think it was, or maybe 2005. Long time. Anyway, would be somethin’ if they did it again, wouldn’t it?
This is a big year for them Kings. A critical year, some folks are sayin’. Means it’s real important. Gotta prove themselves. They got all these new players, gotta show what they can do. These Kings predictions are all over the place, but one thing for sure, everyone will be watching them.
They got this young fella, Brandt, they call him. He’s a rookie, means he’s new to the whole thing. But they say he’s good. Real good. Gonna be playin’ on the power play, that’s when they got more players on the ice than the other team. It’s important, the power play.
Kings and Their Chances
So, what are their chances, these Kings? Well, I’m gonna tell ya, I think they got a good shot. A real good shot. They are predictin’ 46 wins, maybe 36 losses. That’s what I hear. That’s a lot of wins, you know. More wins than losses, that’s what you want.
- They need to play good together.
- They need to stay healthy. No injuries, that’s important.
- They need to listen to their coach. He knows what he’s doin’.
That goalie, David, they say he won 13 games last year. That’s pretty good. And he stopped a lot of pucks. Over 90 percent, that’s what they’re sayin’. That’s a lot of pucks! Gotta be quick to stop that many.
Kings’ Future is Bright
These Kings predictions, they got people excited. Got ’em talkin’. And that’s a good thing. Means people are payin’ attention. It means that team has a bright future, a good future. These Kings got a future, I tell ya.
I’m gonna be watchin’ ’em. Gonna be rootin’ for ’em. Hope they do good. Hope they win that big shiny cup. They deserve it. They work hard. All them hockey players, they work hard. It ain’t easy, what they do.
So, there you have it. My thoughts on them Kings. Just my opinion, you know. I think Kings will have more than 96 points this year. I am not sure, but they are saying it in the news. But I’ll be watchin’, and I’ll be cheerin’. And I’ll be hopin’ they bring that cup back to Los Angeles. That’s where it belongs, don’t ya think?
