That Nelly Korda, she’s a good girl, plays that golf real good. She’s got them Nelly Korda golf pants, makes her look like a real pro out there. You know, the kind them fancy folks wear on them golf courses. I seen her on the TV, swinging that club. She’s strong, that one. Hits that little white ball a mile, I tell ya.
She wears them J. Lindeberg clothes, all nice and fancy. Not like the clothes I wear to tend my chickens, no sir. She’s got different ones, for all kinds of weather. Them rich folks, they got clothes for everything. I just got my old overalls, but they do the trick.
She used to play with them Titleist balls, I heard. But now she’s with TaylorMade. Says it helps her play better. Like that’s gonna make a difference! I reckon a good swing is a good swing, no matter what ball you’re hittin’.

She joined up with Nike, too. That’s a big company. They make them shoes with the swoosh on ’em. My grandson, he’s got a pair. Says they make him run faster. I told him, “Boy, you run fast enough already! You gonna run yourself right outta your skin!”
Why She’s So Good
She’s got that Mitsubishi Diamana GT 60 S shaft in her driver. Don’t ask me what that means. Sounds like somethin’ from outer space. But I guess it helps her hit that ball far. Real far. Like I said, she hits it a mile. I can barely hit a nail with a hammer these days.
They say she hits that driver 267 yards. That’s longer than two football fields! I can’t even see that far anymore. My eyes ain’t what they used to be. But I can still see that Nelly’s a good golfer. One of the best.
She changes clubs, too. Uses different ones for different shots. Smart girl. Like usin’ different tools for different jobs. You wouldn’t use a hoe to milk a cow, would ya? Same idea, I reckon.

Golf Ain’t Easy
Golf looks easy on the TV, but it ain’t. I tried it once, down at the mini-golf place. Couldn’t even hit the ball straight. Kept goin’ into the water hazard. My grandson, he laughed and laughed. Said I was doin’ it all wrong. Well, maybe he’s right. It’s harder than it looks, that’s for sure.
