Well, let me tell you, that Clemson basketball, they got folks comin’ and goin’ like a revolving door at the county fair. It’s hard to keep up with all these young fellas, jumpin’ from one team to another. This here is what I know about this Clemson basketball transfer thing.
First off, that boy, Alex Hemenway, the guard, he’s gone. Packed his bags and went into that whatchamacallit, portal, on April 25th. Ain’t that somethin’? One day they’re here, next day they’re gone. Just like that. Just up and left that Clemson basketball team.
Then there’s this other fella, Myles Foster. Big guy, six-foot-seven, they say. Used to play for Illinois State. Now he’s comin’ to Clemson. Heard he committed on May 20th. That Barnwell, he’s the coach, you know, he and his crew, they’re the ones bringin’ him in. Hope he can play good. Clemson needs all the help they can get, after losin’ so many.
And they got some new young’un, fresh outta high school. Name’s Asa Thomas, from somewhere up north, Lake Forest, I think. They say he’s good. Averaged a whole bunch of points and rebounds and such. 19 points! That’s a lot, ain’t it? He is gonna play for Clemson basketball, too. Hope he likes it here.
That coach, Brad Brownell, he’s got his work cut out for him. Lost another one, that Joshua Beadle. Roster’s lookin’ thinner than a stray cat in winter. It is a big problem for Clemson basketball transfer.
They say they got two more comin’ in. Transfers, they call ’em. Jaeden Zackery, that’s one of ’em. From Salem. Don’t know much about him, but they say he can play. Hope he’s ready for some good, old-fashioned Clemson basketball!
And get this, they even got a football player comin’ over to play basketball! Tristan Smith, his name is. Plays wide receiver, whatever that is. Big fella, six-foot-five. Used to play for Southeast Missouri State Redhawks. Seems like they’re just grabbin’ anyone these days, as long as they’re tall. This Clemson basketball transfer is a mess.
Now, this one here, Joseph Girard III, he’s a big deal, I reckon. Came from Syracuse. Been playin’ for four years, they say. He said he came to Clemson ’cause he wanted to play in that Sweet 16 again. Must be some fancy tournament. He thinks Clemson’s his best chance. Well, bless his heart. We will see how it is for Clemson basketball.
They say they got four of these transfer fellas in total now. That’s a lot of new faces. Gonna be a whole new team, practically. This Clemson basketball transfer is sure somethin’.
- Alex Hemenway, gone.
- Myles Foster, comin’ in.
- Asa Thomas, new kid.
- Joshua Beadle, gone, too.
- Jaeden Zackery, comin’ in.
- Tristan Smith, football player turnin’ basketball player.
- Joseph Girard III, big shot from Syracuse.
It’s all a big mess, if you ask me. But that’s how it is these days, I guess. These young folks, they got so many choices. They just hop, skip, and jump from one place to another. No loyalty, no nothin’. Clemson basketball is just a place to be, I guess.
I remember back in my day, you stuck with your team. Through thick and thin. Didn’t matter if you were winnin’ or losin’, you were a team. These days, it’s all about what’s best for me, me, me. This Clemson basketball transfer is just an example.
Well, I hope these new boys can play. Clemson needs all the help they can get. And I hope they learn a little somethin’ about loyalty while they’re here. ‘Cause that’s what makes a real team, not just a bunch of fellas wearin’ the same jersey. The Clemson basketball transfer need to know that.
I’ll be watchin’ though. Always do. Love my Clemson basketball, even if it is a bit of a circus these days. It is hard to watch so many good players leave, though. And the coach, he surely has lots of work to do to find new players. Hopefully they can find good ones. The ones they have now are surely good, too. That Girard III seems like a good player. I hope he can help the team to win more.
I just hope they remember what it means to be a team. That’s all. That’s all this old lady wants. Just some good, old-fashioned teamwork. Is that too much to ask? I hope not. If Clemson basketball can find its way, then maybe they can win some more games.
