My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I hear all the young’uns talkin’ about it. Seems like a big deal, this 2023-24 Donruss basketball release date thing.
I heard some folks sayin’ it’s comin’ out real soon. They say Jan 26, 2024 is the big day. January 26th! Remember that date, you hear? That’s when you can get your hands on them cards. If I ain’t mistaken, that is the release date for 2023-24 Donruss basketball. Those Donruss basketball cards. They are somethin’ else, I tell ya. All the boys ’round here, they are saving up for them.
Now, these cards, they ain’t cheap. You gotta save your pennies, I tell ya. But all these young folks say they’re worth it. They say these Panini cards, they are good to keep. And if you save ’em long enough, they’ll be worth a whole lot more someday! Some say heading into 2025-26, they hold its value. These Panini cards might even become more valuable. Imagine that!

But those young fellas, they understand all this. They say it’s some kinda special release, this Donruss Elite. I don’t know much about all that, but it sounds fancy. March is the date for them Donruss Elite basketball cards.
And what’s this about a “Hobby Box”? Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a craft store. But they say it’s got one autograph, and 60 of them other things, inserts or somethin’. Then there’s a “Choice Box” with two autographs. Autographs are somethin’ special, I reckon. That’s what them young’uns say. They say you get an autograph card in those boxes. One in the Hobby Box, two in the Choice Box. Sounds like a good deal to me. I heard some fellas say it’s gonna be big. Bigger than a hog at the county fair!
Now, I don’t know much about this basketball, but I know what them young folks like. And they sure do like these 2023-24 Donruss basketball cards. All this talk about 2023-24 Donruss basketball, Donruss Elite basketball, Hobby Box, and Choice Box. It’s enough to make your head spin! But they seem real excited about it. These cards these days, with all these players. They say those cards, they got pictures of all them basketball players. All the big names, I reckon. I seen some of ’em on the television. They sure can jump high!
