I heard people talk about this thing, this Battlegrounds rating. What’s that? Sounds like some young folks’ game. They say it’s simple, but I don’t believe it. Nothing’s simple these days. This rating thing, it goes up, it goes down. Just like the price of eggs at the market. Up and down, up and down. Never know what you’re gonna get.
They say if you get 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, that’s good. That’s a win, they say. Like winning a pie-eating contest at the county fair. But who wants to be 4th? I always aimed for first, even when I was a little girl playing hopscotch.
This thing, this Battlegrounds rating, it’s like a ladder. You climb up, you fall down. But there’s some kinda floor. Like my kitchen floor, you can’t fall through it. They say it’s between 2000 and 6000. Sounds like a lot of numbers to me. Too many numbers. Back in my day, we just counted on our fingers.

I heard some folks, they got a high battlegrounds rating, over 12,000. Good for them, they must play a lot! I saw only a few folks can get that high, 200 people in NA, or maybe 300 in Europe. They must have nothing else to do. I don’t have the time. Gotta feed the chickens, tend the garden, you know how it is.
And some folks, they’re stuck at 5,000. They say it’s in the middle, not bad. It is like half of the people. Better than half the folks, I guess. That’s something. But you always want to be better, right? Like my neighbor’s prize-winning rooster, always crowing, always showing off. You gotta strive for the best, that’s what I always say.
This whole Battlegrounds rating thing, it’s like a game within a game. You play, you win, you lose. You get a number. That number tells you how good you are. Or how bad you are. But it’s just a number, don’t let it get to your head. Just like that time I won the blue ribbon for my apple pie at the fair. It was a good pie, but it was still just a pie.
They say these folks with high ratings, they’re good at building decks. Like building a house, you gotta have a good foundation. And they make good decisions. Like deciding when to plant your corn, gotta time it just right. If you’re good at those things, you’ll probably have a good rating. Makes sense, I guess. This battlegrounds rating, it all depends on your skills.
This Battlegrounds rating, it changes. They update it. Like the weather, always changing. One day it’s sunny, the next it’s raining. You just gotta go with the flow. Can’t control everything, you know? Just like my old dog, bless his soul. He’d chase his tail all day, never could catch it. Sometimes you just gotta accept things the way they are.
They have a big list, a leaderboard, show who is the best. Those people play a lot, that is for sure. And they are good at this game. I don’t know how they do it.
Seems like this battlegrounds rating is important for some folks. They really care about it. I guess it is like their score. But for me? Nah, I’ve got better things to worry about. Like making sure my preserves don’t spoil. Now that’s important.
