Alright, let’s gab about that 2015 NBA draft, you know, the one where them young fellas got picked. Folks call it a “redraft,” means we’re lookin’ back and thinkin’ who shoulda been picked where, knowin’ what we know now. It ain’t easy, mind you, like guessin’ how many eggs that hen’s gonna lay next week. Hindsight, they call it. Makes you feel like a smarty pants, but it’s just ’cause you already seen it all play out.
So, that Karl-Anthony Towns fella, the one everyone was hollerin’ about, yeah, he was alright. Number one pick, and he played like it, big and strong like a bull in a china shop, but a good bull, mind you, one that scores baskets. He stays put at number one in my book. No arguin’ there.

But after him, things get all jumbled up. Like a dropped basket of yarn, all tangled and messy. See, some of them boys they picked high, they didn’t turn out so good. And some they picked low, well, they surprised everyone, like a weed sproutin’ up right through the concrete.
That D’Angelo Russell kid, the Lakers picked him second, thinking he’d be the next Magic Johnson or somethin’. He wasn’t bad, you know, could shoot the ball alright, but he wasn’t no Magic. He bounced around a bit, played here and there. Now, looking back, you gotta put someone else higher.
And that Jahlil Okafor fella, another big guy, folks thought he’d be a beast down low. But he just wasn’t quick enough, not mean
