Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this here Lawson PS3 thing. I ain’t no fancy tech whiz, ya hear? Just a plain ol’ person tryin’ to make sense of it all. So, if I can get it, you can too.
First off, what in tarnation is a Lawson PS3? Sounds like somethin’ my grandson would be jabberin’ about. From what I gather, it’s got somethin’ to do with them PlayStation 3 games. You know, them things the kids play all day long? Apparently, folks are tryin’ to keep all them old games safe, like they’re some kinda precious jewels or somethin’.
Now, I heard tell there’s a whole heap of these games out there. Someone said somethin’ about over a thousand of ’em just in North America! Can you believe that? A thousand! That’s more chickens than old man Johnson has on his farm, and that’s sayin’ somethin’. They call it the PlayStation 3 Vault, like it’s some kinda secret hideout for all these games.
And get this, they even got a list of all them games! Every single one, they say. Must’ve taken someone a good long while to write all that down. I reckon they had nothin’ better to do, bless their hearts. This list, it helps folks figure out which games are on them discs, you know, the shiny round things you stick in the machine.
- They say there are over 1090 games on disc in North America. That’s a whole lot of games, I tell ya!
- Some folks are tryin’ to download these games too. Don’t ask me how that works. It’s all magic to me. They say you can get ‘em from somethin’ called a PlayStation Store. Sounds like a fancy shop, but I bet it ain’t as good as the general store down the road.
Now, I heard some folks are real keen on collectin’ these old games. Says they’re worth somethin’, these days. Imagine that! Stuff that used to be clutterin’ up the kids’ rooms is now worth money. Reminds me of them old stamps my husband used to collect. Thought they were worthless, but now they say they’re worth a pretty penny. Goes to show ya, you never know.
And speaking of money, they even have sales on these newer game machines and games. They call it Black Friday somethin’ or other. Sounds like a ruckus to me. Folks linin’ up for hours, just to get a good deal on somethin’ they’ll probably get tired of in a week. Kids these days, I tell ya.
But back to this PS3 thing. Apparently, you can see what games you got right there on the machine itself. They call it the XMB or somethin’. Sounds complicated, but I bet it’s just a fancy way of sayin’ “menu”. And if you’re real clever, you can use your computer to see what games you got. They got some kinda special program for that, but I ain’t gonna bother with it. Too much fuss for an old woman like me.
They even keep track of when the last game came out. Said it was somethin’ called Shakedown: Hawaii in August. Don’t sound like my cup of tea, but I guess the young folks liked it. And there’s also talk about how many games were released on somethin’ called PSN. Over 200 of them, apparently. That’s a lot of games, no matter how you slice it.
Now, I ain’t sure why folks are so worked up about these PS3 games, but it seems like a big deal to some. Maybe it’s the memories, maybe it’s the fun they had playin’ ’em. Or maybe they just like havin’ a whole bunch of stuff, like my sister-in-law with her collection of porcelain dolls. Whatever the reason, it’s their business, not mine. I’m just here to tell ya what I heard, plain and simple.
So, if you’re lookin’ for information on Lawson PS3, or PS3 games in general, I hope this helped ya out a bit. It ain’t rocket science, even if some of them words sound like it. Just remember, it’s all about them old games, keepin’ ’em safe, and maybe makin’ a little money off ’em too. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits.
