Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about them basketball fellas, the ones they call point guards. The best ones, they say, from this year, 2023. I don’t know much ’bout fancy stats and all that, but I know who’s good, ya hear?
1. That Luka fella from Dallas. He’s a big ‘un, ain’t he? But he moves like a cat, quick and sneaky. Scores a whole bunch, too. They say he gets like, 31 points a game and grabs 8 rebounds? That’s a lot, even for a big fella. Seems like he’s always got the ball and he knows what to do with it. He’s the top dog, no doubt ’bout it.
2. Steph Curry. Now, that boy can shoot! He’s skinny as a rail, but man, can he throw that ball. They say he made more three-pointers than anyone last year. And he ain’t just chuckin’ it up there, he’s makin’ ‘em! He’s been around a while, but he’s still one of the best. He’s like that old rooster in the yard, still crowin’ loud and proud.
3. De’Aaron Fox. This one’s from Sacramento. They say he’s underrated, whatever that means. He’s fast, real fast, like a jackrabbit. And he scores a bunch too, they say 26 points a game last year. Seems like he gets better every year, like a good wine, or maybe more like a good ol’ corn liquor.
- These first three, they’re the cream of the crop, ya see?
- But there are other good ones too, don’t you forget it.
4. That Ja Morant fella from Memphis. He’s quick and can jump higher than a barn cat. He gets in trouble sometimes, but on the court, he’s a firecracker. He can score and he can pass, makes the game look easy.
5. Trae Young from Atlanta. Now, he’s a little fella, but he’s got a big game. He’s like that little chihuahua that barks a lot, but he can back it up. He can shoot from way out, and he’s a good passer too. They say he’s got eyes in the back of his head, seein’ plays before they even happen.
6. Damian Lillard, they traded him to Milwaukee. He’s been good for a long time, always scorin’ points. He’s got that clutch gene, they call it. Means he’s good when the game’s on the line, when it really matters. He’s like that ol’ reliable mule, always gets the job done.
7. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, from Oklahoma City. He’s smooth, real smooth. Gets to the basket easy, and he’s got a nice touch. He’s young, but he’s already one of the best. He’s like a young colt, full of energy and potential.
8. Tyrese Haliburton, from Indiana. He’s a good passer, makes everyone around him better. He’s like the conductor of an orchestra, makin’ sure everyone’s playin’ the right tune. And he can score too, don’t you forget it.
9. Jrue Holiday, now he’s with Boston. He’s a tough defender, makes it hard for the other fellas to score. And he’s a good leader too, keeps everyone on the same page. He’s like the glue that holds the team together.
10. Darius Garland from Cleveland. He’s quick and he can shoot. He’s got good handles, means he can dribble the ball real good. He’s still young, but he’s got a bright future. He’s like a seed that’s just starting to sprout, gonna grow into something special.
So there ya have it, the top ten point guards, according to, well, according to what I hear and what I see. There are other good ones, of course, but these fellas, they stand out. They’re the ones makin’ the plays and winnin’ the games. They’re the best of the bunch, the cream of the crop, the top dogs. Now, go on and watch some basketball, ya hear?
