The Blaster boxes, well, they’re cheaper, but findin’ a Downtown in there is like findin’ a needle in a haystack, like one in every hundred and nineteen packs or somethin’ crazy like that.
- Rated Rookies: These are the cards of new players, the young fellas just startin’ out. Seems like folks are always lookin’ for these too.
- Downtown: Now, these are the real fancy ones. They got pictures of the players with the city in the background, real purdy-like. My grandson says these are the valuable cards, the ones worth a lot of money.
- Parallels: These are just different versions of the same card, like shiny ones or colored ones. My grandson is always showing me his different colored cards and rambling about Purple Shocks. I think the Purple Shock ones come from the Blaster boxes. I don’t get it, but whatever makes the boy happy.
Now, I heard tell that these Downtown cards, they’re hard to find. They call ’em “case hits,” which means you might only get one or two in a whole big box of them packs. And that’s why folks are willin’ to pay good money for ’em. I saw some prices on the internet and my eyes nearly popped out of my head! Some of them cards cost more than my rent!
So, if you’re lookin’ to get your hands on some of these 2023 Donruss Optic Football Downtown cards, you gotta be prepared to spend some money or get real lucky. It ain’t easy, that’s for sure.
