Alright, let’s talk about them basketball fellas from that Israel place, you know, the ones playin’ in the NBA. Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it, so I figured I’d chime in, ya know?
So, there’s this young fella, Deni Avdija. Folks say he’s a big deal over there in Israel, and now he’s playin’ for the Portland Trail Blazers. Used to be with them Washington Wizards, but things change, I guess. He’s like the main guy from Israel in the NBA right now, the only one, they say. A real “rising star,” some fancy folks call him.
Now, this Avdija fella, he’s been playin’ a bit, you know. Got some stats and all that. They keep track of all sorts of numbers, like how many points he scores and how many times he grabs the ball. I don’t understand all them numbers, but if they say he’s good, then he must be pretty good, I reckon. They been keepin’ track of them numbers since way back when, even before I was born, they say. Can you believe that?

Don’t know much about them, but sounds fancy. Folks are wonderin’ if he’s done with the NBA, maybe too old or somethin’. But hey, good for him, goin’ to Israel and all. Maybe he likes the food over there, who knows?
There’s talk about another fella, Domantas Sabonis, plays for the Sacramento Kings. They say he’s tryin’ to become Jewish, but he ain’t from Israel. Still, it’s kinda related, I guess. He’s a good player, real strong, they say. Maybe he’ll visit Israel sometime, who knows?
So, it seems like there ain’t a whole lot of fellas from Israel playin’ in the NBA. Just that Avdija kid right now, and Beverley goin’ over there to play. But hey, it’s somethin’, right? Maybe more fellas from Israel will make it to the NBA someday. It’s a big deal, playin’ in the NBA, gotta be real good at that basketball thing.
They got a whole bunch of players in the NBA, from all over the world, you know. Tall fellas, short fellas, all kinds. And now, we got this fella from Israel, makin’ a name for himself. Good for him, I say. Shows you can come from anywhere and make it big, if you work hard and got that talent.
Now, they got these things called categories and pages online, you know, on that internet thing. They got a whole page just for NBA players from Israel. Only eight fellas listed there, so it ain’t a big bunch. But it’s a start, I guess. Maybe that Avdija fella will get more fellas from Israel to join him in the NBA someday. That would be somethin’, wouldn’t it?
So, that’s what I know ’bout them Israel NBA players. Not much, I admit, but it’s what I heard from folks and saw on that internet thing. Just that Avdija fella mostly, and Beverley goin’ to Israel. But hey, it’s somethin’ to talk about, right? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about basketball made me hungry.
