Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this Griz football, the playoffs, you know, the 2023 one. Them boys been runnin’ around, throwin’ that ball, doin’ their thing. Now, they’re in the playoffs, big doings!
First off, them games, some of ’em, they gonna be on TV. Scripps Sports, they gonna show ’em right here in Montana. That’s good, ’cause I don’t wanna be missin’ nothin’. You hear me? I wanna see them boys win!
This Saturday, the Griz, they gonna be playin’ against SDSU. That’s in Brookings, and it’s at noon. Noon sharp, mind you. Gotta get my chores done early so I can sit and watch. And maybe yell at the TV a little bit. It helps, you know? Gotta cheer ’em on.
- Game one: Griz versus SDSU in Brookings, Saturday at noon.
- Watch it: On TV, thanks to Scripps Sports.
Now, they got this schedule, the 2023 football schedule for the Montana Grizzlies. You can probably find it online, if you’re good with that computer stuff. I ain’t, but my grandson, he helps me sometimes. Anyways, this schedule, it tells you when they playin’ and who they playin’. Important stuff, if you wanna follow along.
They played some games earlier this year too. Some of them were on ABC/Fox Montana. I saw a couple. One time, they played against Butler, and another time, against Ferris State. Them boys looked good, real good. Gave me hope for these playoffs, you know?
Speaking of watchin’ the games, lemme tell ya. Some of these playoff games, they gonna be on somethin’ called ESPN+. That’s on the computer again, or maybe your phone. My grandson, he sets it up for me. He says it ain’t on regular TV, so we gotta do it this way. Fine by me, as long as I can see the Griz play.
Now, if you’re lucky enough to go to the game, you gotta get tickets. You can find that ticket info at */FCSPlayoffs. Go there, get your tickets, and cheer loud! We need all the support we can get for these boys. They workin’ hard, and they need us to be loud.
This second-round game, it’s a night game. I like night games. The lights are bright, and it feels more… important, you know? And they’re the host, which is good. Means they playin’ at home. Home field advantage, that’s what they call it.
The Griz started their season back at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. That was the first of eleven games. Seems like a long time ago now, but here we are, in the playoffs. All that hard work, all them games, it all comes down to this.
So, what’s the plan? Well, first, we gotta know when they playin’. Then, we gotta figure out how to watch ’em, either on TV, or that ESPN+ thing. Then, we gotta cheer. Loud! Yell at the TV, clap your hands, stomp your feet. Whatever it takes. These boys need us.
And don’t forget the snacks! Can’t watch football without snacks. I got my chips, my dip, and maybe some of them little sausages. Gotta keep my strength up for all that cheerin’, you know?
This Griz football team, they special. They got heart, they got grit. And they got us, their fans. We gotta be there for ’em, every step of the way. From the first game of the season, all the way to the championship, if they make it. And I think they can. I really do.
So, let’s get ready, y’all. Let’s put on our Griz gear, get our snacks ready, and prepare to cheer. It’s playoff time, and the Griz are gonna give it their all. And we’re gonna be right there with ’em, every touchdown, every tackle, every single play. Go Griz!
And another thing, don’t forget to tell your neighbors. The more the merrier when it comes to cheering on the Griz! We need all the help we can get. Tell your friends, your family, even that grumpy old man down the street. Everybody needs to be a Griz fan right now. It’s important, real important.
So there you have it, that’s the lowdown on the Griz and their playoff run. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find my lucky Griz hat. Can’t watch a game without it!
