Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Mexico F1 23 setup, whatever that means. My grandson, he’s always fiddlin’ with these racing games, says it’s important. So, I’ll tell ya what I know, even though I don’t understand half of it.
Aerodynamics, that’s somethin’ about wind, right? Like when you open the windows real wide on a hot day? They say you gotta set it to 25-20. Sounds like gibberish to me, but they say it makes the car go fast on the straight parts. You know, like when you’re drivin’ down the highway and there ain’t no turns.
- Front Wing: 25
- Rear Wing: 20
Now, about them tires… That’s important, even I know that. You don’t want them tires wearin’ out too fast, or you’ll be spinnin’ like a top. They told me somethin’ about pressure. Gotta keep them pumped up just right. Too much, they’ll pop, too little, and well, you ain’t goin’ nowhere fast.
For the front tires, they say somethin’ like 23.5 psi. And for the back, a little lower, like 21.0 psi. I guess it’s like when you’re fillin’ up your car tires at the gas station, only more complicated. You gotta get it just right for them turns, so you don’t go slidin’ into the wall.
- Front Tire Pressure: 23.5 psi
- Rear Tire Pressure: 21.0 psi
And then there’s the suspension. That’s somethin’ about how bouncy the car is, right? Like when you’re drivin’ on a bumpy road. You don’t want to be jumpin’ around all over the place. They say you gotta make it stiff enough to handle the turns, but not so stiff that you feel every little pebble on the road.
Front suspension, they say 35-30. And the rear, somethin’ like 10-8. It’s all numbers, numbers, numbers. Makes my head spin. But they say it makes the car handle better, so I guess it’s important.
- Front Suspension: 35-30
- Rear Suspension: 10-8
And then there’s somethin’ called “anti-roll bar”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d find at a saloon, right? But apparently, it’s got somethin’ to do with keepin’ the car from rollin’ over when you’re goin’ around them fast corners. They say you want it stiff in the front, like 10, and softer in the back, like 6. Keeps everything balanced, I guess.
- Front Anti-roll Bar: 10
- Rear Anti-roll Bar: 6
And ride height? That’s how high the car sits off the ground, I reckon. You don’t want it too high, or you’ll be tippin’ over, but you don’t want it too low, or you’ll be scrapin’ the bottom. They say 35-40 for the front and 40-45 for the rear is just right.
- Ride Height: Front 35-40, Rear 40-45
Brakes, now that’s somethin’ I understand. Gotta stop that car, right? They say you want the brake pressure high, like 100%, so you can stop on a dime. And brake bias? That’s how much the front brakes work compared to the back brakes, I think. They say 55% front is good for this Mexico track. Makes sense, I guess, you want to be able to slow down before you go slammin’ into the wall.
- Brakes: 100% Brake Pressure, 55% Front Brake Bias
So there you have it. That’s what they tell me is a good setup for this Mexico F1 23 race. I don’t understand half of it, but if it makes them cars go faster, then I guess it’s important. My grandson, he seems to know what he’s doin’, so I trust him. He says the right setup helps you go faster, and keeps those tires from wearin’ out too quick. Seems like a lot of work just to drive around in circles, but hey, that’s what they like these days.
Now, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about cars and numbers makes me hungry. Hope this helps you young folks with your racin’ games. Just remember, go fast and don’t crash. And don’t forget to call your grandma once in a while!
And make sure you practice, that’s what my grandson always says. Practice makes perfect, or somethin’ like that. He’s always fiddlin’ with the settings, tryin’ to find the best way to go fast. So don’t be afraid to experiment, I guess. And most importantly, have fun! It’s just a game, after all.
