They were the heart of them cars, the soul of the race. And I reckon that’s somethin’ worth rememberin’, somethin’ worth bringin’ back, maybe.
So, can a F1 V8 engine be influential to a sport? Well, I reckon it sure can. It can make it louder, faster, more excitin’. It can make the drivers work harder, the fans cheer louder. It can give the whole thing a bit more heart, a bit more soul. And that, to me, sounds like a pretty good thing.
