Alright, so you wanna know about this “Pool of Tribute” thing in that Final Fantasy game, huh? I heard some young’uns talkin’ ’bout it. Sounds like a big ol’ fight, somethin’ fierce. They say it’s in that Stormblood thing, gotta be important if it’s got a name like that.
First off, you gotta get yourself to Kugane. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like one of them places rich folks go. Anyways, you gotta find this “Wandering Minstrel.” Sounds like a fella who likes to roam around, singin’ songs and such. He’s the one who gets you started, gives you this “Songs in the Key of Kugane” quest. Sounds like a mouthful to me, but whatever. Once you got that, you gotta head to the Ruby Sea. Now, that sounds pretty, doesn’t it? Like lookin’ at a shiny red jewel.
Then, you jump into this fight, see? It’s against some big guy named Susano. Sounds like a Japanese name, maybe? My grandson, he likes all that Japanese stuff. Anyways, this Susano fella, he’s a real handful, I tell ya. Folks say the tank, that’s the fella who takes all the hits, he’s gotta keep Susano still, like holdin’ a bull by the horns. And the rest of ya, you gotta hide behind him, like little chicks behind a mama hen. Smart, ain’t it?
This Susano, he’s got all sorts of tricks up his sleeve. He does this thing called “Assail,” no warnin’ or nothin’, just wham! Hurts real bad, they say. Then he’s got this “Rasen Kaikyo,” makes these circles on the ground, gotta move outta the way quick or you’ll get zapped. Sounds like a lightnin’ storm, doesn’t it? And in the last bit of the fight, he uses all that stuff again, plus some more. There’s this “Stormsplitter” thing, like he’s tryin’ to split ya in two. And “Ama-no-iwato,” sounds like he’s callin’ up rocks and dirt from the ground, messy business, that is.
Important stuff to remember: If you get knocked away, someone gotta pull ya back quick. And there are these dark clouds that show up, gotta watch out for them too. More of them show up as the fight goes on, up to three of ’em. They shoot stuff at ya, so best to stay outta their way.
Now, they also talk about a harder version, the “Extreme” one. That’s for the real tough folks, the ones who like a challenge. Sounds like you gotta be real strong to beat that one. You gotta do all this underwater too, at least part of it. Like swimmin’ in a big pond, but with a giant angry fella tryin’ to smack ya.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Sounds like a real ruckus, a lot of runnin’ around and smackin’ things. But that’s how these games are, ain’t it? Always gotta be fightin’ somethin’ or savin’ somethin’. Just remember to stay outta the bad stuff, hit the bad guy, and work with your friends. And for goodness sake, don’t forget to bring your potions! You’ll need ’em.
They talk about this fight bein’ important to the story too. Something about sacred treasures and this Isle of Zekki. Sounds like a whole lotta drama. But ain’t all stories got a little drama? Keeps things interesting, I guess.
One last thing, there’s a regular version too, for the story. Probably easier, for folks who just wanna see what happens. But where’s the fun in that, I say? Gotta have a little challenge, gotta sweat a bit, makes the victory that much sweeter.
Anyways, that’s all I got on this “Pool of Tribute” thing. Go on now, give it a try. Just remember what I told ya, and maybe you’ll come out on top. Good luck, you’ll need it!
