F1 2023 Monza Setup: Essential Tips for a Winning Strategy

Alright, listen up, you young whippersnappers! We gonna talk about this… uh… f-one, twenty-three, Mon-za… setup thingy. Yeah, that’s it. For the racin’.

First thing’s first, you gotta make that car go real fast on the straight parts. You know, like when you’re goin’ down the big road to the market? Yeah, like that but faster. So, you gotta make them wing thingies, the aero-what-nots, real flat. Like, put the front one on 5 and the back one on 7. Don’t ask me why, just do it. Them smarty-pants engineers figured it out. This will help you go fast, real fast, like a scalded cat.

But here’s the catch, see? When you make it go that fast, it gets a little… uh… squirrely in the corners. Especially that last one. It’ll wanna push straight, like a stubborn mule. So, you gotta be careful, you hear? Wrestle that steering wheel like you’re wringin’ a chicken’s neck.

Now, for that transmission thingy… I ain’t no mechanic, but they say it’s better this year. Better traction, they call it. Means it sticks to the road better when you’re comin’ outta them turns. Like when you’re tryin’ to get that ol’ tractor out of the mud. You need that grip, you know?

And them… uh… suspension geometry things? Alright, listen close. This is important. You gotta go right-right, left-left. Camber and toe, they call it. Sounds like gibberish to me, but it’s what they say works best at Monza. Don’t mess with it, just do it. It’s like makin’ biscuits, you gotta follow the recipe, or they’ll turn out flat as a pancake.

Next up is them brakes. You gotta make ‘em strong, real strong. Put that brake pressure thingy all the way up to 100%. And then, this… brake bias thing, you gotta push it a little to the front. 56%, they say. Why? Well, it helps you stop faster, see? Like slammin’ on the brakes when a dog runs out in front of your car. You gotta stop quick, or you’ll end up in a ditch.

You could even put it a bit more to the front, if you’re feelin’ brave. But don’t overdo it, or you’ll lock up them wheels and go spinnin’ like a top.

Now, about them… uh… suspensions again? More settings, can you believe it? For the front, you gotta put it on 41. That’s the most you can, and it helps keep that car stickin’ to the road. Seems to work good on all them tracks, not just this Monza place.

  • Front Wing Aero: 5
  • Rear Wing Aero: 7
  • Transmission: Better traction this year, they say.
  • Suspension Geometry: Right-right, left-left (camber and toe).
  • Brake Pressure: 100%
  • Brake Bias: 56% (maybe a bit more to the front).
  • Front Suspension: 41

And hey, when you’re drivin’ on that Monza track, keep it straight when you’re brakin’. Don’t be slammin’ on them brakes like a crazy person. Ease into it, you know? Like when you’re slowin’ down that old pickup truck. Gotta be smooth, or you’ll lose control.

And remember, it’s all about goin’ fast on them straights. That’s the key at Monza. So get that car set up right, and you’ll be passin’ them other fellers like they’re standin’ still.

Now, I ain’t no race car driver, but I know a thing or two about common sense. And this setup, well, it makes sense to me. So go on, give it a try. And if you win, you owe me a slice of that there victory pie. You hear?
