Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this football stuff, the CMR football schedule, you know? Folks keep jabberin’ about it, so I figured I’d lay it all out for ya, plain and simple.
Now, I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I know when them boys are gonna be throwin’ that pigskin around. So, here’s the deal, as best as I can figure it.
First off, they got this bowl game thingy. Bowl games, they call ’em. Lots of ’em, seems like. They start in December, around the 8th or so, I heard. They go on and on, all through December and into January, even. Too many, if you ask me, but what do I know?
- December 8th, they start pickin’ who plays who. That’s what they call “Selection Day”. Sounds important, I guess.
- Then, the games start up. Some on the 20th of December, some on the 21st. They’re on all sorts of channels. ABC, ESPN, CBS, Fox… Lord, it’s enough to make your head spin!
- And they got this “College Football Playoff” too. Big games, important ones. First round’s around the 20th and 21st of December, just like some of them bowl games.
- Heck, they even play one on New Year’s Eve, the 31st of December. Two o’clock in the afternoon, they say. Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, they call it. Sounds like a whole lotta fun, if you ask me. But I’ll be home, warm and cozy by the fire.
Now, where can you watch all this stuff? Well, that’s the tricky part. They say you gotta have some kinda cable or somethin’. ESPN, ABC, CBS, Fox… They all got games, seems like. Somebody was tellin’ me you can get some kinda deal with this “Fubo” thing, for like, fifty bucks or somethin’. Gets you all them channels, they say.
Then there’s the regular season, before all them bowl games. That’s a whole other mess. Games all over the place, all different times. ESPN, they got a whole bunch of ’em. They start, well, I don’t rightly know when, but they go on for a good long while, seems like. Then they have these “conference championships” in December. That’s when they decide who’s the best in each group, or whatever they call it.
So, if you wanna know the exact CMR football schedule, you gotta look it up. There’s too many games for my old brain to remember. But I told you the important stuff. Bowl games in December and January, playoffs around the same time, and the regular games before that. And don’t forget them conference championships!
And all these games are on them TV channels I told you about. Or you can go to the games themselves, if you’re young and energetic. Me, I’ll stick to my comfy chair and watch it on the TV. If I can figure out which channel it’s on, that is. They make it so darn complicated these days.
College football schedule is a long one, that’s for sure. But it’s exciting, even for an old lady like me. I like watching them boys run around, throwin’ that ball. Reminds me of when I was young… well, kinda. We didn’t have all this fancy stuff back then, that’s for sure. But we had fun, and that’s what matters, right?
So, there you have it. The CMR football schedule, as best as I can tell ya. You want more details, you go look it up yourself. I’m done talkin’ about football for now. My feet hurt from all this standin’ around, and I gotta go make myself some supper. Probably just some beans and cornbread. Nothin’ fancy, but it fills the belly.
And that, my friends, is more important than any football game, no matter how big they say it is.
