That Full Sail University, I heard some folks talking ’bout it. They say it got somethin’ to do with football. Now, I ain’t no expert on them fancy colleges, but I heard this one’s a bit different. They say it’s all about that EA SPORTS Madden NFL 25, whatever that is. Sounds like some kinda video game, I reckon. My grandson, he’s always playin’ them games. Maybe this is where he should go, huh?
I heard they got all sorts of stuff there. Full Sail University football, you see, ain’t like regular football, I guess. It’s like they play it on a screen or somethin’. They say it’s a big deal, this Madden NFL thing. People watch it, just like they watch real football, they are crazy. I don’t get it, but the young folks sure seem to like it. They talk about teams and players, just like in the real game. It’s all a bit beyond me, to be honest.
Full Sail University and that Madden NFL thing
This Full Sail University, they do more than just that football stuff, though. Heard they teach all kinds of things there. Like makin’ movies and music, and drawin’ pictures on the computer. I guess they call it technology and media and some other fancy words. It’s all new-fangled stuff, if you ask me. Back in my day, we didn’t have none of that. We just had the fields and the cows, and that was enough for us. We were happy with what we have.
But I suppose times change. These young people, they need to learn somethin’ to get by in this world. And if this Full Sail University football is what they’re into, then so be it. Who am I to judge? I just hope they’re learnin’ somethin’ useful, somethin’ that’ll put food on the table. That’s all that matters in the end. You know what I mean? You gotta be able to support yourself. You gotta be able to work and earn a livin’.
What’s this Full Sail University all about?
They say this Full Sail place is in Florida. I ain’t never been to Florida, but I hear it’s warm there. Probably a lot of sunshine. That’d be nice, I reckon. We get enough rain here as it is. And the winters, oh, they can be brutal. You wouldn’t believe how cold it gets. Sometimes I think I’ll never warm up again. I heard that you gotta have a high school diploma or a GED to get into Full Sail University. Makes sense, I guess. Gotta have some education, even for that video game football. And they say two letters sayin’ you’re a good person are good to have, too.

I asked my neighbor’s boy, he’s real smart with them computers, about this Full Sail University. He said it’s a “for-profit” school. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds kinda fishy to me. Like they’re just in it for the money. He also said that if you’re comparin’ it to other schools, it’s more like Rollins or Stetson, ’cause they’re all private. I don’t know them other schools, but I trust the boy. He knows what he’s talkin’ about when it comes to these things. And it is a lot of money, for sure.
Now, this Madden NFL 25 Championship Series, that’s somethin’ they talk about a lot at Full Sail University football. Sounds like a big competition or somethin’. I guess the best players go there to play against each other. Like the Super Bowl, but for video games. It’s all a mystery to me, but I guess it’s important to them that play it. It is their life, I guess. They do not need to work. I saw a video, there are a lot of people, they just watching them kids playing game on computer. Crazy, I tell ya!
Why all this fuss about Full Sail University football?
They say this Full Sail University is the “official home” of that Madden NFL thing. I don’t know what that means exactly, but it sounds important. Like they’re the main place for it. I guess if you’re really into that video game football, that’s where you wanna be. You know, like how them ball players wanna go to the big stadiums? It’s like that, but for the computer, I reckon. And people just watching them, they love it.
I still don’t understand it, to be honest. But I guess it makes them happy. And that’s what matters, right? Bein’ happy. If this Full Sail University football and that Madden NFL stuff makes them happy, then who am I to say it’s wrong? It ain’t hurtin’ nobody, far as I can tell. It is just a game, not the real one. They even got rules for the game, I heard. Just like real football. And they got somethin’ called Division II. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds important. It is like different level.
And they are keep talking about this EA SPORTS, they are the ones that made the game I guess. They say this Full Sail is known for creative stuff. Like art and music and movies. I guess that’s why they got that video game football, too. It’s all part of that creative world. A world I don’t understand, but a world that’s important to a lot of people, especially the young ones. And I guess, if it makes money, it is a good thing. Money can buy you food.
So, that’s what I know about this Full Sail University football. It’s a lot of things, I guess. A place for video games, a place for creative stuff, a place where it’s warm. It’s a whole different world, that’s for sure. A world that’s a bit beyond me, but a world that’s here to stay, I reckon. And who knows, maybe my grandson will end up there someday, playin’ that Madden NFL. If that’s what he wants, I’ll support him. As long as he’s happy, that’s all that matters.
