That Michael B. Jordan, I tell ya, he’s somethin’ else. Heard he got somethin’ to do with that basketball game, the one they call Legacy Classic. My grandson, he’s always talkin’ ’bout basketball. Says this Jordan fella is a big shot. Not that old Jordan who play basketball before, but his son, I think. This one’s name is Michael B. Jordan, just like his daddy, I guess. They love their basketball, those Jordans.
They say you can watch it on the TV. Got all them fancy channels now. ESPN, that’s one. And FOX, that’s another one, I think. And NBC. They all got letters. Hard to keep ’em straight. They say this Legacy Classic thing is on TNT. That one I know. My grandson, he watches wrestlin’ on that channel sometimes. You can watch NBA games, too, they say. This game is gonna be a big one, I reckon. Lots of folks will be watchin’.
They say this game is somethin’ special. It’s called Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic. Sounds fancy, don’t it? My grandson told me it’s all about them HBCU schools. I don’t know much ’bout that, but he says it’s important. Somethin’ ’bout black colleges. They got good basketball teams, he says. This game is gonna be in Newark. That’s up in New Jersey. Never been there myself. Too far from home.
Now, this Michael B. Jordan, he ain’t playin’ in the game. He’s just puttin’ it on, I reckon. Like a promoter, or somethin’. He was in them movies. The boxing one. Creed, they call it. He’s a good actor, that one. Now he’s doin’ this basketball thing. Keepin’ busy, I suppose. Good for him.
If you wanna watch it, you gotta have one of them streamin’ things. Sling, they call it. I don’t have one of those. My grandson does, though. He can watch all sorts of things on his phone. It’s all too complicated for me. I just stick to my regular TV.
They say this Michael B. Jordan was home schooled. Learned at home, not in a regular school. But he still played basketball. Played for some high school in Newark. Must be a good player, then. This basketball game is gonna be on February 3rd. That’s what they say, anyway.

He must really love that game. It’s all my grandson talks about. Basketball, basketball, basketball. Drives me up the wall sometimes.
This Legacy Classic game, it’s gonna have some fellas talkin’ about it on the TV. Michael Grady and Grant Hill. Never heard of ’em, but they must know somethin’ ’bout basketball if they’re gonna be on the TV talkin’ about it. They gonna be calling play by play, whatever that means.
So, that’s all I know about this Michael B. Jordan basketball game. Sounds like a big deal. If you like basketball, you’ll probably wanna watch it. Just gotta figure out all them channels and streamin’ things. It’s all too much for me. I’ll just stick to my stories on the regular TV. But you young folks, you go ahead and enjoy that basketball game. It sure sounds excitin’.
