That Felipe Massa, he’s making some news again. You know, that fella who used to drive those fast cars? He’s all riled up about something that happened way back in 2008. He thinks he shoulda won that big race, that championship thing. Says some other guy, Lewis Hamilton, got it instead, but it weren’t fair. This whole thing is about that Felipe Massa news.

Well, let me tell you, it’s a whole mess. This Massa fella, he’s gone and got himself some lawyers. He’s suing them big shots in charge of the races, the F1 and the FIA. Says he lost a lot of money ’cause of what happened. Like, a whole lot. We’re talkin’ millions! He says he shoulda gotten a big bonus from that Ferrari team if he’d won.

It’s all because of some race in Singapore, back in 2008. Something fishy happened there, and Massa, he says it cost him the big win. They call it “Crashgate” or somethin’. Sounds like a movie, don’t it? He wants them to change the results of that race. Says it ain’t right that Lewis Hamilton got the trophy when he shoulda had it.

He started talkin’ about this last year, in 2023. Got his lawyers to send some fancy letter, sayin’ he was gonna sue. That’s what you gotta do, you know, before you go to court. Gotta give ’em a warning, I guess. It’s all some UK law, don’t know much about that, just that it is needed before filing a lawsuit, you know?

  • He’s saying he’s the real winner of 2008.
  • He’s suing for a lot of money.
  • It’s all about some race in Singapore.
  • They call the whole thing “Crashgate.”
  • He chose his car number, 19, from some race he won before.

This whole thing, it’s costin’ Massa a pretty penny, too. He says it ain’t easy, and it’s “very expensive”. All them lawyers and court stuff, it adds up. He’s hopin’ it’ll be over soon. Says he never thought he’d be mixed up in somethin’ like this. But he says he wants the truth to come out. He’s really fired up about it, you can tell.

Now, this Massa fella, he used to drive for that Ferrari team, remember? The red cars. He was pretty good, too. Won a bunch of races, but not that big one in 2008. That’s what all this fuss is about.

He picked his car number, 19, ’cause he won some other race with that number a long time ago. In 2001, I think it was. Some Euro Formula 3000 thing. That win got him a chance to try out for the big leagues, the F1, with that Sauber team. See, even back then, he was makin’ a name for himself.

This whole thing, you can find more about it from them GPFans folks. They write all about these races, 24/7. I ain’t that into it, just heard them talking at the market. And Felipe Massa, he’s always been a fighter, ain’t he? Remember that time in Brazil, after that race in 2008? He was pointin’ at his heart, all proud, even though he didn’t win. That’s the kinda guy he is, you know, the Felipe Massa news.

He’s sayin’ he lost about 64 million of them Euros. That’s a whole heap of money! And he woulda gotten a 2 million Euro bonus from Ferrari if he’d won that championship. He’s serious about this, that Massa. He ain’t backin’ down. He says, “We will not be deterred.” Sounds like somethin’ out of one of them old movies, don’t it? This is all Felipe Massa news for you.

Well, I don’t know how it’s all gonna end. But one thing’s for sure, this Felipe Massa, he ain’t givin’ up easy. He’s gonna fight for what he thinks is right. And that’s all I know about this Felipe Massa news. It’s a big mess, that’s for sure. Just hope it don’t drag on too long. It’s gonna be interesting to see what happens next, though, ain’t it?
