Okay, here’s my blog post about “Harvard Westlake Soccer”:
So, I got really into this whole Harvard-Westlake soccer thing lately. I mean, I’ve been following them for a bit, but it’s gotten real now. You know how you just stumble upon something and then suddenly you’re all in? That’s what happened to me.
First, I was just trying to find some local games to watch, you know, something to do on a Friday night. I saw that Harvard-Westlake was playing against El Camino Real on December 8th, 2023, and I thought, “Why not?”. I’d heard they were pretty good, some independent school I guess, but I didn’t know much else.
I started digging a little deeper. Just casual stuff, nothing crazy. I checked out their schedule, looked at their roster, and saw some rankings. I even found this thing called “Live Soccer TV”, which was kind of cool. They had a bunch of schedules and scores and stuff.
Then, I found myself on the Harvard University website. I guess they have some kind of connection, but the details are a little fuzzy. I was scrolling through their sports stuff, looking at scoreboards and resources for student-athletes. I saw something about live events, but it wasn’t really what I was looking for. I ended up skipping most of it, to be honest.
It’s funny how these things happen. I went from just wanting to watch a game to spending hours online, reading about this team. I still don’t know everything, but I’m learning. And you know what? It’s been pretty fun. I’m no expert, but I’m definitely a fan now.
Maybe I’ll go to another game soon, maybe I won’t. But either way, I’m glad I stumbled upon this whole Harvard-Westlake soccer thing. It’s like a little adventure, you know? And who knows where it’ll take me next. Stay tuned!
