Today, I was trying to dig up some old info about the Notre Dame football team from way back in 2004. Man, it feels like just yesterday I was watching those games!
So, I started by hitting up the usual spots on the internet to find the 2004 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football team roster. The first few sites I checked were a bit of a mess, but I kept going.
Then, I found a couple of sites that had some decent info. They talked about the team’s overall performance, which wasn’t too shabby—they were 6-5 that year. But I really wanted to see the full roster, you know? I remember they added like four defensive backs and three offensive linemen that season.
I kept digging and stumbled upon a site that had a breakdown of the team’s stats for the 2004 season. It was pretty cool to see all the numbers, but still no full roster. I also found out that they lost to the Oregon State Beavers, 38 to 21, in some bowl game.
After a bit more searching, I finally found what I was looking for! It wasn’t the easiest thing to find, but I managed to get my hands on the full 2004 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football team roster. I also found that the last time they won a National Championship was in 1988. It was a bit of a trip down memory lane, seeing all those names and remembering some of the big games they played.
Here’s what I managed to piece together:
- The team’s record for 2004 was 6-5.
- They lost to Oregon State in a bowl game, 38-21.
- They added four defensive backs and three offensive linemen to the roster.
What I Learned
It’s crazy how time flies. Looking back at that 2004 team brought back a lot of memories. It was a bit of a challenge to find the full roster, but I’m glad I stuck with it. I’ll be sure to share more of my little internet adventures in the future. Stay tuned!
