Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to write about these Paul Pogba football boots for a while now, and today’s the day. I saw some buzz online about them, something about them being “Limited Edition” and “vegan,” which, honestly, sounded pretty cool.
First, I started digging around to see what the deal was with these boots. Apparently, they’re a collaboration between Pogba and Stella McCartney. Not gonna lie, I had to look up who Stella McCartney was. Turns out, she’s a pretty big deal in the fashion world. Anyway, it makes sense that a stylish guy like Pogba would team up with a fashion designer.
After getting the basics down, I went on a mission to find these boots. I checked out all the usual online shops. No luck. They were sold out everywhere! I guess that “Limited Edition” part wasn’t a joke. That kind of made it a game. I decided that I needed to get them.
Feeling a bit defeated but still determined, I started hitting up some of my football-loving friends. One of them, bless his heart, knew a guy who knew a guy who had a pair in my size. Long story short, after a bit of back-and-forth and some serious negotiating, I finally got my hands on them!
Unboxing Time
The box itself was pretty slick, all black with some fancy gold lettering. Opening it up, the first thing I noticed was the color. They’re mostly white, but with these cool, almost iridescent, accents that change color depending on the light. Very flashy, very Pogba. These are not your average boots. There is no way that they are not for players like Pogba.
I slipped them on, and man, they felt amazing. Super light, but still sturdy. They’ve got this sock-like fit that hugs your foot, which I’m a big fan of. Apparently, they are for a better ball control, and to help you feel the ball better. I don’t know if that is true, but they felt awesome.
Field Test
Of course, I had to take them for a spin on the field. I joined a pickup game at my local park and put these boots to the test. I’m not gonna pretend I’m the next Pogba, but I definitely felt a difference. I dribbled the ball like crazy, with more control over it. I am not even sure if the boots were the reason, or I was just too excited to try them on. The grip was solid, and I felt like I could make quick cuts and changes in direction with no problem.
- Fit: 10/10 – Super comfy and snug.
- Look: 9/10 – Stylish and unique, but maybe a bit too flashy for some.
- Performance: 8/10 – Great grip and feel, but it’s hard to say how much of that is the boots and how much is just me.
- Cool Factor: 11/10 – It’s a limited edition, vegan, Pogba boot. Need I say more?
So, there you have it. My journey to getting and trying out the Paul Pogba Limited Edition Predator 18+ boots. Were they worth the hype and the hassle? For a football fanatic like me, absolutely. They’re a cool piece of football history, and they actually perform pretty darn well on the field. I love them. Plus, I can say that I own a limited edition football boot. That is amazing. I am so happy that I didn’t give up and got these boots.
