I also remembered seeing something about putting “…say” at the end of a clue, which could mean it’s a soundalike word, but that didn’t seem to fit here.

Then, I came back to the tricky clue. With a few letters now filled in from other words, it suddenly hit me! The answer was probably staring right at me all along. I’m not going to spoil it, but it was really satisfying to finally crack it.
So yeah, that’s how I went about solving this particular crossword clue. It wasn’t easy, and I definitely used some online resources and general tips, but in the end, I got it! It just took some patience, some thinking, and maybe a little bit of luck. Maybe you guys can try it out and see if you can get it too.
This whole thing taught me that even when you’re stuck, just keep trying different approaches. Don’t be afraid to look for help or use online resources, but don’t rely on them too much. The most important thing is to just keep at it, and eventually, you’ll get that “aha!” moment.
