Okay, so I saw this “fella nyt crossword clue” thing trending, and I was like, what’s that all about? I’m not really a crossword person, to be honest. I mean, I’ve tried them a few times, but I usually get stuck after like five words and give up. But this one seemed different, plus, I had some time to kill.
So, I grabbed my phone and started to search for the crossword to see what I got. It took some time to load. You know how it is, waiting for something to load when you are excited.
- First try, the first clue I saw was this “High-tech beam.” I’m thinking, okay, what could that be? My mind went straight to sci-fi stuff, like lightsabers or something. But that didn’t fit.
- Then it hit me! LASER! Like, duh, how did I not think of that before? It was pretty obvious once I thought about it.
- After that, I was on a roll! Filled in a couple more words, feeling pretty good about myself.
Feeling Like a Genius!
I kept going, and you know what? I actually finished the whole thing! I couldn’t believe it. I felt like a total genius. And the best part is, it only took me like nine or ten minutes! That’s faster than most people, apparently. I read somewhere that the average time is over nine minutes, and some people spend hours or even days on these things!
Bragging Rights
So yeah, I finished the crossword puzzle in record time. I guess I’m a natural or something. Might start doing these more often, who knows? Maybe I’ll even become one of those people who does them every day. It’s a good way to keep your mind sharp, right? And hey, it’s always fun to have a little something to brag about!
